The M2 Europe prepaid travel card incorporates advanced functionality designed to encourage greater customer acquisition, retention, re-selling and revenue opportunities for the travel industry.

Prepaid Travel Card provides cardholders with 24-hour access to their funds, in multiple currencies whilst on their travels. The cards can be managed remotely through the use of mobile telephones and allows increased security with the ability to temporarily block and unblock the cards.

Cards are issued as an open-loop reloadable card or generic branded prepaid travel card. Cards are issued by a bank, in association with either MasterCard® or Visa and are generally loaded with funds prior to use. Cards are accepted globally for merchant and Internet purchases or cash withdrawals from ATMs.

Mobile Control
Mobile payments can form part of powerful customer reward or incentive campaigns to encourage cardholders to pay for goods and services using their prepaid travel card.

Online Control
Online account management provides access to account and programme information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This user-friendly interface allows the cardholder to administer their account efficiently, check their balance and reload their cards.

By using Prepaid Travel Cards, cardholders have 24-hour access to their funds, increased security and purchasing control and enhanced spending management abilities. Cards are available in a number of currencies (€, US$ and £ - other currencies can be provided if required). This eliminates the need for Traveller's Cheques and creates a more secure environment for spending funds abroad.

The rates charged for foreign exchange makes this card a very appealing proposition for travellers. Applying for and obtaining a card is effortless as no bank account or previous credit history is required. Cardholders can conveniently check their balance through IVR, SMS and Internet. They can keep their transactions anonymous as no physical statement is sent to their home address.
