M2 Europe’s Virtual Solution

M2 Europe's Virtual Card solutions are ideal for clients with customers who prefer not to use their debit or credit cards for purchases on the Internet.

Customers are not issued with a physical card but the Prepaid Virtual Card number will be displayed to the applicant after successfully completing an application over the Internet or from a client's retail outlet.

After purchasing the Prepaid Virtual Card the applicant is issued with a 16-digit card number. The three digit security code on the reverse of a card, or the Card Verification Value (CVV) and card expiration date are sent to the account holder through a selected method either by email, WAP or SMS.

Prepaid Virtual Cards can be loaded using cardholders' debit or credit cards. Cash can be used to purchase Virtual Cards that are available in-store, resulting in further access to the unbanked market.

Once Virtual Cards are loaded, the funds are instantly available for use on the Internet or at any given client retail outlet.

Prepaid Virtual Cards are issued by a bank, in association with MasterCard®. The Virtual Card is loaded with funds prior to use and can be accepted for Internet and telephone purchases utilising the MasterCard network. The Virtual Card can be reloaded with additional funds at any time.

Additional functionality can be added such as M2 Europe’s unique Mobile Payments System, which can be used to run customer reward and incentive campaigns by the client to encourage their customer base to pay for products and services using their Prepaid Virtual Card.
